US Legal System = Epic Fail

An inmate and convicted killer at the San Mateo County jail recently sued for dental malpractice after a dentist at the prison performed unnecessary dental work on him resulting in a broken jaw that had to be wired shut.

36-year old Quincy Dean Norton, Jr. filed suit against the county and claims he suffered from extreme pain as a result of dental malpractice and negligent misrepresentation. While in jail, Norton alleges that Dr. Gregory L. Mar insisted he have one of his wisdom teeth removed because of an abscess. During the removal, Norton’s jaw was broken and he had to be taken to the county hospital where doctors determined that the tooth never should have been pulled.
