This was a very interesting discussion in class today, I believe it is ridiculous how they granted what he wished to happen, and that is to live. They should not have made a deal with him. As far as the death sentence, I believe offenders should deserve what they want least, if one rather dies then prison for life. As in this situation, he wanted to live, well then they should have awarded the death sentence.
